My sweet family just got bigger and cuter. Our World and View of People has just been changed. My first 3 kids just scored a better chance of being more tolerant and compassionate. Awesome.
These are a few of his 4 year pictures. I'm taking a few more when I can catch him while he wants something really bad and I can bribe him. By friend Betsy will be taking some also. She's done some really cool things lately and I'm anxious to see what so can do to him. I'm the "easiest to please mom" ever where pictures are concerned.
That pouty one is one of my favorites....even though I was SO SUPER MAD at him in the moment and expected him to smile sweetly. I'm getting that printed for my secret picture stash...the stash of pictures that I don't him to know how cute I think he is.

Weird facts...I'll try.
1. I Love Dolly Parton...and I have since my dad bought me the 9 to 5 45 record. (he doesn't even like country music. I was raised more on 50's, 60's and 80's rock and of course, gay bands from the 80's, thanks to my brother Ahh...The Wham Rap) I have nearly ALL of her albums...new and old. and have any embarrassing obsession with the movie Rhinestone.
2. I never wanted to have kids until the month we tried to have Ian. I'm thankful God gave me some confidence to have him. Now I could love to have 10 more...not "have" them but I'd like to play with 10 more.
3. I have a BIG problem with the T.V. being on if no one is watching it.
4. I used to paint and use a sketch book consistently...I gave my last complete painting to my friend Sarah in college and haven't been able to paint anything since. That's nothing to do with her, by the way. :)
5. I picture mine and other people's death and horrible things that could happen to the point of keeping me up at night. (hmmmm...I know most of you could have gone forever not hearing that. Sorry.)

It's crazy. It seems so short, yet it seems like she's been in our family for much, much longer. That's a strange thing about kids. I'm shooting a few more tomorrow...I've gotta get some of her teeth. That's if she'll smile big enough...which is not so easy on command and without throwing her around.
Ian loves Uncle Thomas! One of the...um...many?...reasons we love living in Montgomery is because my brother is only 2 hours away. It's so nice to be able to see him whenever I want and for him to come to see Lily when she was born and come for a very late xmas and come to Ian's birthday party. I won't get into "feelings" on my blog...but I can say that I have loved him exactly the way a little sister is suppose to love her big brother my whole life. Even with out the fighting...since the age difference is so big. I'm very thankful that God has given me a chance to be this close to him (in proximity also) and for Ian to be able to get to know him. He loves my babies and....really...is there anything that can make you feel better than that?
This is what happens when boys, like mine, play too rough...which is most of the time. Hopefully he'll remember this when I tell him he's playing to rough...but I doubt it.
