Knitting Fever.

So, my kids love camps and learning anything as long as they can go somewhere and do it.  Lily often asks me, "is there such thing as ______ lessons?"  Fill in with hool-a-hoop, skating, trampoline, anything she can think of.
So I wasn't surprised when Lily wanted to go to a sewing camp and Ian said he would be interested in knitting classes.  So Ian had his class last night.  I dropped him off for his 3 hours of knitting and he was the only student.  Rob and I sat at home a little worried about how he was doing and how bored he was.  So I got there a little early to rescue him.  Little did I know....

He LOVED it!  And when I say LOVED.... that's an understatement.  He said he had the best time and he wanted to go back next month to learn more.  He asked to get up before 6am so he would have time to knit before basketball camp.  I've never seen him so excited about anything.  It was crazy.  So... he's working on a scarf and I'll post a finished picture in a couple of weeks.  By the way, his is doing WAY better than me in my 1st 3 hours.  His actually look like my 10th month. :)

Forts and Sunflowers

New fun game that lasts for hours!  The ole tried and true "couch fort"!  I loved it, they love it.

My parents tried to send a picture of their sunflowers...they didn't even have any blooms!!!  Sad, sad.  So this is for them in response to their little picture.

Happy 15th!

Although we aren't together in any of these....it was, indeed, mine and Rob's 15th Anniversary.  We decided to celebrate family style.  We had a great time and plan on returning and cheering on the Biscuits this Summer.  We had to wear our St. Louis gear this time....but I stocked up on Montgomery shirts for next time.
