Yesterday on Ian's last day of school, they gave out certificates. It was really special. It wasn't for academic excellence, but for Christian Characters. All around the school, teachers were calling each student, one at a time, to the front, in front of their peers and parents. They had picked a personality character that the student developed or showed throughout the school year. Then one parent would pray for their child. Ian's character trait was Corporative.
Romans 15:5
May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you the same attitude of mindtoward each other that Christ Jesus had, 6 so that with one mind and one voice you may glorifythe God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Last Day of School
I'm so excited! Ian has had a great year. I'm thankful for God's guidance to us to put him at Cornerstone this year. Although I was sad, it was the right thing for Ian. He had made so much progress. Who knew I was so mean and a horrible teacher? Well, I did... but I did love trying it. I think God would have grown us into something better, but Ian loved meeting and being with his new friends in a classroom.
This is a teacher's gift I did for Mrs. Weaver. I found the idea on the greatest invention ever made....Pinterest.

Naked Chalking begins a great weekend!
We always walk Ian and Daddy out to their car in the morning... well this morning broke out into a little naked art making. We had a great rest of the weekend with going to see Seth's first movie, Chimpanzee. He had a great time and we learned a lot, like how easily Chimps can tear other monkey's limbs off. I didn't realize monkeys ate monkeys. They do, a long with their diet of berries and nuts.
We also went to Home Depot for our monthly woodworking activity. That was fun and they actually gave us a plant to go with it this time. I didn't take pictures of our first swim of the summer, but I'll just tell you....that wasn't my best idea because it was chilly. The kids enjoyed it though...so the endless "are we swimming today" starts now. We have a couple weeks left of school until summer officially starts. I'm excited! We have lot's of things already planned. Lot's of camps, VBS hopping and I'm sure endless crafts for Lily.

Day 2 of return
Just trying to make sure I write something everyday to make it seem like this is fun. I'm sick today and When Seth woke up he just crawled around the house yelling NO. So, that's not cute or funny...but it's all I have today.
